Cosmetic surgery Costa Rica
Here’s a fabulous vacation plan: Hop a flight to San José, Costa Rica for a weeklong resort stay. Enjoy poolside lounging and fine dining in a nice restaurant and foot walks in the city all while you recover from plastic surgery.
That’s right. There are many cosmetic surgery in Costa Rica – clinics where you can get away from it all and have your nose, breasts, face, eyelids or tummy tuck done, too. Your friends won’t bug you because they’re hundreds of miles away, and if you’re going to be in recovery for a while, why not convalesce in paradise?
Cosmetic Surgery in Costa Rica – is it a bargain?
Low costs draw people to foreign clinics. Whereas a surgeon in Manhattan may charge $6,000 for a nose job, one in Costa Rica may charge $2,800. That’s not the only procedure for which fees differ greatly. A facelift may set you back $8,500 in New York. Down in Costa Rica, you can have it done for as little as $3,500.
A cosmetic surgeon at the Costa Rica Wellness Centre, says a doctor’s training and experience should be a higher priority than cost, no matter where the clinic is. “I think the most important thing is to develop a rapport with your surgeon,” he says. Your conversations with the surgeon should leave no doubt that you’re in capable hands while for a cosmetic surgery in Costa Rica.
But you’ll see, a huge quantity of cosmetic plastic surgeons in Costa Rica are trained in the States and/or Europe. Is there really any difference? Or let’s say it insolent: Do U.S. cosmetic surgeons want to earn so much more?
